Harry Kane says Tottenham have not heard from their errors after they threw away a 2-0 lead against Olympiakos.
Last season’s beaten finalists were held to a 2-2 draw in Greece despite leading throughout Lucas Moura’s emphatic finish and Kane’s punishment.
“It is possible to see why the director is frustrated,” said England ahead Kane.
“He’s been here for five years now and we are still making similar errors as we were the first calendar year.”
Tottenham conceded a 2-0 lead in the north London derby at Arsenal on 1 September, and Kane said the team had to improve.
“We are not young any more, we’re not inexperienced, we’ve played in big games for club and country,” he further added.
“We have to attempt to find a means to go around it and improve and make better. That is all we can try to do.”
After dropping two points, questioned his team’s mindset. His side game in Team B is at home to champions Bayern Munich on 1 October.
“In the start of this year we’re conceding a lot of opportunities and a lot of targets and we need to change this,” said the Argentine.
“The only way we can change is being harder . That’s the way we’re likely to approach different days and be more consistent.
“Training needs to be harder. Psychologically harder.
“I feel really disappointed. From the first half, I wasn’t happy with our performance. From the start we had a plan and we did not respect the plan.
“That’s what disappointed me most and that is precisely what I told the players at half-time.”
Former Tottenham midfielder Michael Brown additional BBC Radio 5 live:”I stated last season that Spurs had done exceptionally well but sadly they’re just not likely to be able to maintain Liverpool and Manchester City, and that is still the case. They are just not at exactly the identical level.
“They have got some wonderful people but as a group collectively, this keeps happening – that they keep slipping up and conceding aims in the wrong moment.
“We are becoming critical of Spurs and in which they have come out, but they’ve got this new arena and a few excellent players. Can they keep progressing and not be that this selling club?”
